Who is this guide for?
For a new building manager who wants to build all the floors and apartments at once instead of adding them one at a time.
Before you begin
- Quick setup only appears when there is no floor in the building.
- Know the number of floors and the number of apartments on each floor.
Steps
- From the side menu, open Building Operations ← Floors.
- Press the Quickly Set Up Floors and Apartments.
- In the Automatic setup tab fill in:
- Number of floors, example: 5.
- Apartments on each floor, example: 4.
- Floor starting number: 1 for the first floor, or 0 if you want to start on the ground floor.
- Apartment starting number, example: 101.
- See preview: floor names (first floor, second floor…) and apartment numbers are shown, such as 101–104 for the first floor and 201–204 for the second.
- Click Review and Confirm, then confirm the data and click Create Floors and Apartments.
Result
A message appears with the number of floors and apartments created, and the page expands to display the floors and their apartments. All apartments are created vacant and without an owner.
Important notes
- After creation, you can modify the name of any floor or the code of any apartment, and add the owner of each apartment from its details page.
- The apartment number is built from the floor number and then the number inside it; The ground floor (0) consists of apartments 1, 2, 3…
- If you create completely wrong data you can use Delete All Floors and Apartments and then start over — use with caution.
- If you do not see this list, you do not have permission — contact the building manager.
