Internal transfer between wallets

Who is this guide for?

For the building manager who wants to transfer a wallet balance from one person to another in the same apartment, such as a tenant who has left and has a balance of 150 that he wants to transfer to the owner or to the new tenant, or to transfer a resident’s balance from one fund to another.

Steps: from one person to another

1. From Building Operations ← Floors Open the apartment.
2. On the card of the person with the balance, press Transfer Balance (it appears only if there is a balance in his wallet).
3. In the Wallet Balance Transfer:
   • Source Portfolio: Choose the fund’s wallet, and the available balance is shown.
   • Transfer to: Select the owner or one of the apartment's tenants (current or previous).
   • Amount: To be filled in with the full balance and you can reduce it, example 150.
   • Remarks: Optional, example “settle at contract expiration”.
4. Click Transfer Balance.

Steps: between funds of the same resident

1. Open Wallet Payment for the resident, and under the charge whose balance is insufficient, click Transfer Balance, choose the source fund and the amount, then execute.

Result

The source wallet balance decreases and the recipient balance increases by the same amount, and the movement appears in wallet movements for both parties.

Important notes

• The transfer between two people remains within the same fund. To transfer funds between the same funds use Transfer on the Funds.
• Transfer balance between funds in the same currency only.
• No rollback; To correct the error, convert the same amount in reverse.

Who is this guide for?

For the building manager who wants to transfer a resident’s wallet balance to another person or between his funds from the mobile phone.

Steps

1. Open the Wallet Payment screen for the resident: Units tab → Apartment → Click on the person → Wallet Payment.
2. Click Transfer between Funds, and the Balance Transfer window appears with two tabs:
   • Transfer between funds: Choose From Fund (shows Available Balance) and To Fund.
   • Transfer to another person: Select Recipient from the building residents, and To the Fund.
3. Enter amount, example 150.
4. Click Confirm Transfer.

Result

The amount is transferred instantly and wallet balances. Example: A tenant left and had 150 in the maintenance fund ← transfer it to the landlord, so the landlord has 150 from which his next charge will be deducted.

Important notes

• It is not possible to transfer to the same fund when transferring between your funds.
• Insufficient balance: The amount is greater than the available balance.
• If the recipient does not have a wallet in the fund, a message appears A wallet will be automatically created for this person upon transfer.
• Convert between funds in the same currency only, and there is no reversal except by a reverse conversion.
