Who is this guide for?
For the building manager who created an charge on the wrong fund, such as a “November Guard” charge on the maintenance fund instead of the services fund.
Before you begin
- The new fund must have the same maturity currency. It is not possible to transfer a dinar charge to a dollar fund.
Steps
- From Finance ← Charges Find the accrual.
- Press the Fund button on the card (in Rent charges you will find it in the More).
- In the Change Fund window, choose New Fund.
- Click Change fund.
Result
The charge becomes affiliated with the new fund, and every payment registered on it after that enters it. If some residents have paid, their paid amounts are also transferred from the old fund to the new one and the movement appears in the Transactions tab of the two funds.
Example: 5 residents paid 100 dinars for “November Guard,” which is on the maintenance fund. After the change, the maintenance fund decreases by 100 and the service fund increases by 100.
Important notes
- If a currency mismatch message appears, the new fund's currency is different; Choose a fund with the same currency.
- If you receive an error message when you change a payable fund, do not try to work around it with a manual conversion; Contact support.
- It is safer to change the fund before starting the collection.
- You can also change the fund from the mobile app: charge Details ← Actions ← Change Fund.
