Meter readings

Who is this guide for?

The building manager, who calculates the residents on water or electricity, reads the number of each apartment.

How is it calculated?

Consumption of the apartment Current reading − Previous reading, and the amount = Consumption x Unit priceThe difference between consumption Main count And the total number of apartments is called waste It is distributed to the residents.

Example: One apartment read 1200 and 1230 = 30 cubic metres x 0.5 dinar = 15 dinars plus its share of losses.

Before you begin

• Water: selected Virtual Water Measurement Unit Highest charge pageliter or cubic meter (m³)).

Steps

1. From the Finance ← Charges Click Add charge.
2. choose charge type: Water meter charge or Electricity meter charge, then Statement ,Fund ,Date.
3. Enter Unit priceWater is chosen reading unit The price is valid (there is no automatic transfer between units).
4. Enter Prior reading of the main meter ,Current reading of the main meter.
5. Click Select Residents And then he set the apartments DoneOn the card of every barracks, press Edit And come in Previous reading ,Current reading.
6. See upcoming Main reading summary: Reading teams, Total residents readings, waste, Total cost.
7. Click Save charge.

Subsequent modification of the main reading

On the maturity card. Press Main readingAmend the readings, then Save Reading Redistribution of losses.

Important notes

• The main reading or sanitary readings cannot be modified after payments are recorded.
• The current reading must be bigger than the previous one.
• The reading unit is closed after the establishment of the charge.

Who is this guide for?

For the building manager who records meter readings from the mobile phone.

How is it calculated?

Consumption = Current reading − Previous reading, and the amount = Consumption x Unit price, and the apartment’s share of waste (the difference between the main meter and the sum of the apartment’s meters) is added. Example: 30 m³ x 0.5 dinars = 15 dinars.

Steps: Create a counter charge

1. From the Charges tab, click Add charge.
2. Choose charge type meter (water or electricity) and financial fund.
3. Enter unit price, and for water choose reading unit (liter or cubic meter (m³)).
4. Select the residents, enter for each apartment Previous Reading and Current Reading, then type the statement and press Add.

Steps: Recording the main reading and distributing the waste

1. Open the charge, then the Readings tab (or Actions ← Record Reading).
2. Click Record New Reading, enter New Reading then Save Reading.
3. Click Distribute the loss then Distribute to divide the loss among the beneficiaries according to their consumption.

Result

In the readings overview you see meter consumption, beneficiary consumption, waste and waste cost, and for each apartment the final amount.

Important notes

• Readings cannot be modified after payment.
• If an alert appears that the last reading was in a different unit, enter the previous reading manually.
