Board roles

Who is this guide for?

The building manager who wants to set up the roles of the Council, whether prefabricated or building-specific roles.

Steps — virtual roles

1. Open Building Operations ← Board of Directors.
2. Click Create Default Roles.
3. In the window, choose the roles you need:
   • Board PresidentFull powers to manage the Council, roles and members.
   • Vice-PresidentLike the President without the sensitive deleting powers.
   • SecretaryOrganization of statements by the Board and members.
   • Member of the Council: Access to the Council and the governance board.
   • Financial Controller: Access to funds, invoices and charges.
4. Click Confirmation of roles.

Steps — new role

1. Click Addendum.
2. Type Name of role (Required), for example, maintenance officer,description (optional).
3. Click Reservation of the role.

Result

Important notes

• Virtual roles are automatically linked to their terms of reference, but do not include meeting terms of reference; manually added them from Roles Terms Matrix Who needs it?
• The re-establishment of a virtual role that exists is not repeated, but only the lack of powers.

Steps

1. Click More ← Boards of Directors Then open up a bucket Roles.
2. If there are no houses that show buttons: the first (star icon) creates the five virtual roles in a single way: the President of the Council, the Vice-President, the Secretary of State, a member of the Council, a financial observer.
3. To create a special role, press the floating button Addendum.
4. Type Name of role (Requested), for example: Finance Committee Officer,description.
5. Click Establishment of the role.

Result

The role in the list is shown with the number of members and described, under which three icons: powers, amendment, deletion.

Important notes

• In application, all virtual roles are created together; to select only some, use the web control board.
• Virtual roles do not include terms of reference for meetings; add them from any icon of authority if needed.
• No role can be deleted; members are moved to another role first.
• For the amendment, press the pen icon, and then.. Save.
