Perfect Tower From dues to maintenance, keep daily work in one place

Who is this guide for?

For the building manager who wants to organize expenses into classifications (maintenance, electricity, cleaning...) and determine who is responsible for each classification by default.

Before you begin

  • When you open the page for the first time, ready-made categories are created: maintenance, internet, electricity, water, cleaning, security, fees and taxes, other. You can modify it or add others.

Steps

  1. From the side menu, open Finance ← Expense Classifications.
  2. To add a category click Add Category, or click Edit next to an existing category.
  3. Write Name in Arabic (required), example: elevator. You can write Name in English (optional).
  4. Choose Show it by default:
    • From the owner’s share: Deducted from the apartment owner’s share.
    • From the gross rent: It is paid from the rent before it is distributed (office fees).
    • On the tenant: An addition is added to the tenant on top of the rent.
  5. Leave the Enabled switch on so that the classification appears when recording expenses.
  6. Click Save.

Result

The message “Classification has been saved” appears, and the classification appears in the table with who bears it and its status, and becomes available when recording expenses and lease contract expenses.

Important notes

  • No category deletion; To hide it, turn off the On switch and its status becomes Off.
  • “By default” is a suggested value only and can be changed at each expense.
  • The Expenses by Category button opens the current month's expenses report, broken down by category.
  • If you do not see this list, you do not have permission — contact the building manager.
